Travel with us into the naive and elegant world of Danish illustrator Michelle Carlslund—a world of soft colors full of cute bears and friendly birds. In 2010, while still studying graphic design, Michelle printed her illustrations at home and tried selling them at a design market, where they met great success! Several shops wanted to sell her creations, which inspired her to start a business. Michelle quickly became a recognized freelance illustrator. Today, her eco-friendly graphic works can be found worldwide in design boutiques, stationery shops, and children’s stores. Michelle draws inspiration from everything around her. Her creations are gentle and poetic, with a stylized and childlike style that perfectly blends with Vilac toys. “I’m a fry-loving, time-optimistic creator of eco posters and a freelance illustrator based in Copenhagen, Denmark,” is how Michelle Carlslund would describe herself in one sentence.
